Here's what some of our well connected customers say:

Using Autopage's Lone Star system helps United Utilities cope with and prioritise the thousands of calls coming into operational headquarters each month from its workers out in the field. Around 600 domestic engineers stay in touch via Autopage's PC-based Lone Star system which is designed to monitor outworkers at multiple sites through low-cost mobile phone access. The system is highly adaptable and can be tailored to meet individual company's requirements. United Utilities uses it as a means of prioritising call-outs.
Ian Cooper helps look after the company's dispatch team department in Sunderland, which is responsible for making sure on-the-road engineers are sent immediately to deal with emergency calls and other call-outs.The engineers who use Lone Star are first call operatives attending gas escapes.
Ian says: "If you have workers out in the field waiting, it pays to be as efficient as possible. It allows the dispatchers to schedule their time more effectively. The outworkers like it and we can also extract management information so we can see how well the dispatchers are performing and whether we are meeting the industry standards."
"The after sales service from Autopage is very good and they are always very helpful and knowledgeable with ongoing support and updates,"

“We've been operating the Autopage Lone Star system since September 2001. It was tailored to suit our requirements, is extremely easy-to-use and has proved to be a vital component in the drive to give our ambulance drivers and fast response personnel the protection they need when they are out in the field.”
David Johnson Yorkshire Ambulance NHS Trust

“Autopage's system allows us to offer a lone worker monitoring service on a commercial basis without having a dedicated operator watching the system. All duties are logged automatically, together with any costs or charges that we choose to make. The alarm system immediately draws the supervisor's attention to any workers with problems.”
